WILWIN

Women should not have to lose themselves to lead.

Behind the competence and achievements are often invisible pressures: family expectations, caregiving, societal judgement and workplace demands. WILWIN gives women a safe space to pause, reconnect, heal, grow and lead with wholeness.

Who we are

WILWIN exists to address the woman behind the position.

We are a Nigerian nonprofit advancing the mental, emotional, psychological and leadership wellbeing of women in leadership and emerging women leaders.

Women lead while navigating families, careers, businesses, political environments and societal expectations. Those intersecting responsibilities create enormous psychological pressure, often hidden behind outward success. We create safe spaces where women can grow without losing their identity, values or wellbeing.

Home / About

A woman should be able to rise without losing herself.

WILWIN was born from lived experience and a simple conviction: leadership conversations must include the woman herself.

Dr. Chinaemerem Nnenna Iwuanyanwu, founder of WILWIN
Our story

Why WILWIN was born

Our founder's journey through corporate and political leadership exposed her to realities that many women experience but rarely discuss openly.

Women are often expected to be competent but not intimidating; strong but not emotional; ambitious but not threatening; successful but still available to everyone; independent but socially acceptable.

They are expected to lead organisations, raise families, care for others, navigate relationships and meet societal expectations, often all at once.

We want a leadership culture where women lead with strength and softness, competence and compassion, confidence and emotional intelligence.

Our vision

A society where women leaders thrive.

To build a society where women leaders thrive with healthy minds, emotional resilience, mutual trust and shared commitment to collective progress.

Our mission

Wellbeing at the centre of leadership.

To strengthen women in leadership through mental health advocacy, therapeutic support, leadership education, research and platforms that foster collaboration, emotional intelligence and sustainable growth.

Our difference

We address the woman behind the leadership

Many leadership programmes focus on competence. Many women's programmes focus on empowerment. Many mental health programmes focus on illness. WILWIN brings these conversations together.

Human-centred

We see the woman before the position.

Trauma-informed

We recognize that experiences shape how people lead, relate and respond.

Evidence-informed

We promote research, learning and responsible practice.

Confidential

We respect privacy and professional boundaries.

Collaborative

Women achieve more when they build one another rather than compete destructively.

Sustainable

We promote leadership that can be maintained without sacrificing wellbeing.

Home / Wellbeing Check-In
A WILWIN digital wellness innovation

A moment to check in with yourself.

A private space to reflect on stress, energy, emotional wellbeing, work pressures and the support you may need.

Reconnect. Rewire. Realign. Re-energize.

Your wellbeing deserves attention, not just your responsibilities.

The WILWIN Wellbeing Check-In helps you record how you are feeling over time, notice personal patterns and choose small, practical steps that support your wellbeing.

This is a reflection tool, not a diagnosis or a mental-health risk prediction system.

Save your check-ins in a private account

Create a free account or sign in. Your scores and notes stay private to you, and you can export or delete them whenever you like.

Gentle ways to support yourself

Pause and breathe

Take a few unhurried breaths and give yourself permission to pause between responsibilities.

Reconnect with support

Consider reaching out to a trusted person, colleague, mentor or qualified professional if you need support.

Protect one small boundary

Choose one realistic boundary for the week, such as a break, a finish time or time away from notifications.

Notice without judgement

Use your reflections as information about your experience, not as a score of your worth or leadership ability.

The Wellbeing Check-In is for personal reflection and general wellbeing education. It is not a substitute for professional care or emergency support. If you need urgent help, contact local emergency services or a qualified health professional.
