Who we are

WILWIN, the Women in Leadership Wellness Initiative, is a nonprofit based in Abuja, Nigeria. WILWIN is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. You can reach us at info@wilwininitiative.org.

What we collect

Account details: your name, your email address and a securely scrambled form of your password. Wellbeing Check-In entries: five scores from 1 to 5, the date, and an optional private note and weekly goal. Newsletter details: your email address and subscription status. Messages you send through the contact form. Website usage: pages viewed, general device type and the website that referred you, collected without cookies and without storing your network address.

Why we use it

We use your information to run your account, show you your own check-in history and trends, send the newsletter you choose, answer your messages and understand which pages help visitors. We use it for these purposes only.

Your consent

We rely on your consent for accounts, check-ins and the newsletter. You can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing from our emails or by deleting your account on the My account page.

Who can see your check-ins

Your private notes and weekly goal are encrypted in our database, and only you can read them. WILWIN administrators can see your scores and dates so that we can understand wellbeing trends across the community. Each time an administrator opens an individual member's scores, the action is recorded in an audit log. We never sell your information.

How we protect it

Passwords are stored with strong one-way hashing. Sign-in and sign-up forms limit repeated attempts. Notes are encrypted at rest. Administrator access uses a strong password and ends after a period of inactivity. We recommend that your hosting runs the site over a secure connection (HTTPS).

How long we keep it

We keep your account and check-ins until you delete your account. Website usage records are kept for 12 months and contact messages for 24 months.

Your rights

You can see, correct, export and delete your information. Export your check-ins as a spreadsheet file and delete your account yourself on the My account page. For any other request, email info@wilwininitiative.org. You can also raise a concern with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

Cookies

WILWIN sets one essential cookie that keeps you signed in and protects forms from forgery. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
